UAE Linehaul Manager – Amazon Logistics

About the role

Amazon is seeking an experienced Linehaul Manager to lead end‑to‑end linehaul operations across all UAE business lines, including Fulfilment Centres, Amazon Transportation Services, Amazon Logistics and Quick Commerce. The role ensures safe, reliable and cost‑effective movement of shipments between network nodes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead linehaul operations across multiple business lines, coordinating plans, cut‑off times and capacity requirements.
• Own performance against safety, on‑time departure/arrival, connectivity, capacity utilisation, cancellation rate, service quality and cost metrics.
• Develop short‑, medium‑ and long‑term transportation plans aligned with volume forecasts and network changes.
• Manage external carriers, set expectations and hold partners accountable for safety, compliance and service performance.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across logistics, procurement, finance, safety and regional transportation teams.
• Lead planning and execution for major events (Ramadan, Prime Day, White Friday, year‑end peak) and balance capacity during constraints.
• Identify operational risks, create contingency plans and lead response to disruptions.
• Use data to improve network design, asset utilisation, route efficiency, reliability, speed and cost.

Required profile

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, nights and holidays.
