UAE Social Studies Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated UAE Social Studies teacher for Cycle 2 and 3 to join its American‑curriculum primary programme. You will inspire students, work collaboratively with staff, and support the school’s vision of a sustainable, innovative learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging UAE Social Studies lessons for Cycle 2 and 3 pupils, adapting to a wide ability range.
• Plan, prepare and present curriculum‑aligned sessions, using classroom resources and displays to create a positive learning environment.
• Assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system, providing data‑driven feedback and adjusting instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues, curriculum support staff and external specialists such as speech therapists and educational psychologists.
• Maintain classroom behaviour in line with the school policy, communicate with parents and contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Passion for whole‑child education, high professionalism and a solution‑focused attitude.
• Clean enhanced DBS/Police check.
