UAE SWA Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician performs aircraft ground handling and servicing operations for U.S. Air Force and coalition forces in a high‑tempo, austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding and departure tasks in compliance with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Perform ground handling and turn‑around services, including operator‑level inspections of vehicles and support equipment.
• Maintain zero‑harm workplace by enforcing flight‑line safety, FOD prevention, tool control and PPE usage.
• Document servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists; report hazards and equipment issues promptly.
• Support aircraft launch and recovery operations and assist with cleanliness and organization of the flight line.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• 3–5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or transient aircraft services.
• Hands‑on flight‑line experience and knowledge of aircraft marshaling and ground handling procedures.
• Willingness to work in extreme weather and 24/7/365 flight‑line environment.
