UAV Pilot

About the role

The UAS Pilot joins EDGE's ADASI Operations Department to conduct both ground and flight activities, ensuring fleet serviceability, operational readiness, and support for national and international deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform non‑operational ground/flight activities such as fleet serviceability testing, GT, TT, FT, SIM and equipment testing.
• Execute operational flight missions to meet ADASI commitments, including internal and external flights and participation in deployments.
• Maintain UAS operational currency and support static and flight demonstrations.
• Generate and maintain an operational equipment status system and contribute to SOP development.

Required profile

• Valid UAS category, class and type rating in accordance with the Pilot Currency Flight Syllabus.
• Civilian or military manned/unmanned aviation flight crew licence (fixed‑wing or rotary‑wing) with radio communication licence, or equivalent.
• Completion of a higher technical college or UAE Air Force Air College.
• At least 24 months of system time as a junior UAS pilot on the relevant category, class and type.
• English proficiency at minimum Class 4.
