UI-UX Designer

About the role

This UI-UX Designer position is based on site in the United Arab Emirates and requires at least 3 years of experience. The designer translates user needs into intuitive, accessible and scalable designs for web and mobile, owning the end-to-end UX flow from research and wireframes to polished, developer-ready components, and drives design system maturity across squads.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and evolve a scalable design system with components, tokens and documentation within the first 6-12 months.
• Deliver high-fidelity UI for core product experiences and provide developer-ready handoffs.
• Collaborate with QA and run usability studies, iterating on findings.
• Ensure accessibility conformance and partner with product and engineering to ship features with measurable impact.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Strong collaborator and communicator who advocates for users and thrives in cross-functional, Agile teams.
• Comfortable balancing creativity with pragmatic constraints and articulating the rationale behind design decisions.

Required skills

• Figma (expert level: auto-layout, components, variants, prototyping)
• HTML/CSS and responsive, adaptive layouts and grid systems
• iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design
• WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
• Prototyping and testing tools such as Framer, ProtoPie, Miro, FigJam, Hotjar, Maze and GA4
• Version control and collaboration basics: Git, Jira, Notion
• Experience designing and maintaining design systems and tokens
• Bonus: Adobe Creative Cloud or Sketch, After Effects, Lottie, design tokens, Agile product team experience
