Ultrasonographer

About the role

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is recruiting one Ultrasonographer. The main purpose of the job is to perform sonography diagnostic examinations for patients in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine sonography procedures within set guidelines and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional guidance, care and support to patients.
• Maintain patient records according to policy and statutory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety principles and practices are complied with in line with patient care standards.
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance functions are performed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Radiology or Medical Imaging from an accredited institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in sonography or ultrasound.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in sonography.

Required skills

• Current clinical knowledge of radiology practices, industry trends and technologies.
• Evaluation of diagnostic sonograms, laboratory results, and patient history and medical records.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
