Usher – Theater Operations

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for an Usher – Theater Operations to become part of its new resort’s theater team. The role involves welcoming guests, ensuring smooth audience flow and supporting accessibility services in a world‑class performance venue.

Key responsibilities

• Greet audience members warmly, answer queries and provide directions to seats, facilities and concessions.
• Check physical and digital tickets efficiently and courteously.
• Assist latecomers, monitor audience behavior and report disruptions to management or security.
• Support safe evacuation procedures and enforce house policies on photography, mobile use and conduct.
• Provide dedicated assistance to patrons with mobility, hearing or other access needs, including acting as an Access Host.
• Distribute and collect programmes, promotional material and hearing devices, and keep the auditorium, foyer and restrooms clean before, during and after performances.
• Participate in pre‑show briefings and debriefs and collaborate with front‑of‑house staff, box office and security personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in theatre ushering or hospitality service.
• Familiarity with West End, Broadway or similar theatre venues and performance schedules.
• Basic first‑aid training (optional, can be provided).
• Ability to manage tasks under pressure with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal communication, attention to detail and a team‑player attitude.
