Utilities Technician I – Factory

About the role

Join one of the world’s largest food companies as a Utilities Technician I, responsible for the reliable operation and maintenance of boiler house and related utility equipment in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boiler house machinery, thermal fluid heaters, air compressors, dryers, pumps, water softeners and treatment systems.
• Perform corrective, preventive and scheduled maintenance following the Kanban system.
• Monitor equipment parameters, conduct laboratory analyses and keep accurate activity reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, HACCP, GMP, 5S and food‑defense procedures.
• Support other areas as needed and contribute to reducing mean time to repair (MTTR).

Required profile

• Technical diploma (minimum 2 years) in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• At least 3 years of operation and maintenance experience with boilers and air compressors in the food/FMCG sector.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Basic knowledge of boiler water quality analysis, chemical handling and relevant codes/standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.
