Utility Site Engineer - Infrastructure

About the role

The Utility Site Engineer will supervise and manage the installation of various utility services on construction sites, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards. This role involves close coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day utility installation works including water supply, drainage, sewerage, irrigation, stormwater and related services.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors and other MEP/civil teams.
• Review drawings to identify clashes, discrepancies and technical issues.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for daily activities.
• Conduct inspections and work with QA/QC teams for testing, approvals and commissioning.
• Coordinate pressure testing, leakage testing, flushing, disinfection and commissioning of utility systems.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection records and as‑built information.
• Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with the approved programme.
• Support final testing, snagging and handover activities.
