Vehicle Painter

About the role

Al Tayer Motors is looking for an experienced Vehicle Painter to deliver high‑quality paint finishes on customer vehicles, ensuring all work meets the company’s standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Collect job orders and gather all necessary materials and tools required to perform painting on customer vehicles in line with company standards.
• Prepare damaged areas of the vehicle for refinishing, including surface cleaning, sanding, and applying masking procedures to protect surrounding parts.
• Set up and maintain spray painting equipment, mixing paint, and ensuring proper pressure and nozzle settings for optimal application.
• Accurately blend and mix paint colors to achieve a perfect match with the vehicle’s original finish.
• Apply appropriate painting techniques, such as water‑based or base‑coat applications, to refinish panels and achieve a uniform coat.
• Perform paint rectification, touch‑up work, and detailed polishing to restore the vehicle’s appearance to showroom quality.
• Paint plastic components and other non‑metal parts, ensuring consistent coverage and finish.
• Adhere to occupational health and safety procedures, keeping the workplace clean and equipment well‑maintained.

Required profile

• Possess a Matriculation or ITI qualification.
• Have between three and five years of hands‑on experience working as a painter in an automotive environment.
