Vice President – Commercials

About the role

The Vice President – Commercials will lead the commercial strategy, financial performance, and monetisation of Aldar’s Darna loyalty programme. Reporting to the SVP – Loyalty, this senior leader will shape pricing, funding models and partnership frameworks to drive sustainable revenue growth across the Aldar ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for Darna’s loyalty products, establishing scalable pricing and funding models.
• Govern investment prioritisation, stage‑gate approvals and ROI analysis for new propositions and partnerships.
• Own commercial performance, tracking revenue, costs, margins and profitability across all loyalty initiatives.
• Collaborate with Group Finance on annual and multi‑year financial planning, scenario modelling and forecasting.
• Negotiate and manage high‑value partnerships with banks, airlines, telcos, utilities and e‑commerce firms.
• Identify cross‑business monetisation opportunities and drive incremental revenue growth.
• Implement governance controls to monitor revenue leakage, cost overruns and under‑performing propositions.
• Coach and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of discipline, innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of experience in commercial strategy, partnership management or revenue monetisation, preferably within loyalty programmes or large consumer ecosystems.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience leading commercial or financial teams with accountability for revenue performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
