Vice President - Compensation & Benefits

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to join Mashreq UAE as Vice President of Compensation & Benefits. The role will shape and execute C&B strategies across multiple locations, ensuring our rewards proposition stays competitive and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the subject‑matter expert for all compensation and benefits matters within the assigned scope.
• Lead pay review and bonus cycles for designated locations, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
• Drive the digitisation of rewards processes, identifying opportunities to enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with vendors to develop scalable solutions that improve existing user journeys.
• Analyse compensation survey data and recommend changes aligned with the bank’s compensation philosophy.
• Review and update pay bands annually, providing cost‑impact analysis for management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory C&B requirements and labour laws across all assigned countries.

Required profile

• UAE national with a minimum of 10 years of compensation and benefits experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful C&B strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership experience with a collaborative, inclusive approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
