Video Editor & Post-Production Lead

About the role

An online media and publishing business is looking for a Video Editor and Post-Production Lead based in Dubai, UAE. The editor will handle long-form documentary episodes, short-form videos and trailers, and manage post-production workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Edit long-form documentary episodes with strong storytelling, pacing and narrative structure.
• Create compelling openers, introductions and chapter sequences.
• Handle sound design, dialogue cleanup, audio mixing and colour grading.
• Create motion graphics, lower thirds, chapter cards and animated graphics.
• Produce short-form videos, trailers and platform-specific cutdowns.
• Manage post-production workflows, media backups, project templates and archives.
• Join selected shoots in Dubai and across the UAE to capture B-roll and support production.
• Use audience retention and performance insights to improve future edits.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in long-form video editing, particularly documentaries, video essays, YouTube content or branded documentaries, with a strong portfolio.
• Experience creating engaging short-form content for social media.
• Comfortable with professional cameras and on-location shoots.

Required skills

• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with proficiency in After Effects.
• Strong audio editing, dialogue cleanup, sound design, mixing and colour grading.
