Videography, Editing & Production Specialist

About the role

The Videography, Editing & Production Specialist reports to the Chief of Creative and Media Production / Head of Production (CCPO) and manages practical production activities from shoot preparation through to final edits and asset handover. The role combines camera, lighting, sound, editing and production coordination skills.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare shot lists, interview plans, equipment requirements and production schedules.
• Film branded content, interviews, podcasts, events, testimonials and promotional footage.
• Support interview direction and communicate with Arabic- and English-speaking participants.
• Coordinate locations, equipment, crew and suppliers within approved budgets.
• Edit footage, refine narratives, balance sound, correct colour and add graphics and subtitles.
• Deliver campaign masters, social cut-downs, press-ready footage and product demonstration videos.
• Maintain verified backups, organised project files and secure media transfers.
• Check technical quality, permissions, licences and production safety requirements.

Required profile

• Fluency in Arabic and English, including understanding briefs and checking bilingual captions.
• Showreel or portfolio demonstrating camera, lighting, sound and editing capabilities.
• Strong planning, attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of releases, copyright, location permissions and basic on-set safety.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines and use resources efficiently.
• Preferred: qualification or training in film, media production or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred: hands-on experience in a production house, agency, events team or freelance setting, and experience producing corporate interviews, branded campaigns and product demos.

Required skills

• Proficiency in professional post-production workflows, including exports and archiving.
• Preferred: motion graphics, photography or remote-location production.
