About the role
The Host will welcome and assist VIP guests at One&Only Royal Mirage Resort in Dubai, ensuring a personalized experience from arrival to departure. This full‑time position requires a proactive, detail‑oriented professional who can manage check‑ins, concierge requests, and special celebrations.
Key responsibilities
- Check‑in VIP guests, escort them, and handle concierge enquiries.
- Maintain daily arrival lists, update guest profiles in Opera, and attach passport scans.
- Coordinate special amenities, celebrations, and VIP requests with relevant departments.
- Conduct courtesy calls to gauge guest satisfaction and report issues.
- Monitor airport arrivals, arrange transport, and ensure seamless handover to the Guest Experience Manager.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years experience in a similar role within upscale luxury hospitality or five‑star hotels.
- Strong customer service and reservations background with excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and adapt to flexible schedules.
