Visiting Faculty Member – College of Media

About the role

City University Ajman invites experienced scholars to join its College of Media as a Visiting Faculty Member. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality instruction in Digital Media, Advertising, and Mass Communication while contributing to the university’s research and community outreach agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Digital Media, Advertising, and Mass Communication.
• Develop and update curricula in line with industry trends and accreditation standards.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students.
• Maintain an active research agenda with publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Participate in departmental initiatives, quality assurance processes, and community service projects.

Required profile

• PhD in Media Communication from a recognized university with UAE Ministry of Higher Education equivalency.
• Minimum 5–7 years of university‑level teaching experience.
• At least 5–7 peer‑reviewed research papers.
• Demonstrated involvement in community service or professional outreach.
• Valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) if currently employed in the UAE.
• Associate Professor rank is a strong advantage.
