VP, Business Performance - Global Private Banking

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is looking for a VP, Business Performance to lead the performance management agenda for Global Private Banking. The role turns strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes and covers performance governance, management information, planning, forecasting, sales productivity, customer experience and executive reporting, working with key stakeholders to close performance gaps and strengthen sustainable revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the Global Private Banking strategy into annual business plans, scorecards, KPIs and performance targets.
• Lead monthly and quarterly business performance reviews, with clear ownership of actions, risks and recovery plans.
• Provide senior management with forward-looking insights on revenue, assets, liabilities, client activity, pipeline and productivity.
• Own the design, quality and timely publication of executive dashboards and management information.
• Identify performance gaps and turn analysis into practical interventions for segments, teams and products.
• Establish productivity benchmarks and monitor sales effectiveness, pipeline conversion and portfolio penetration.
• Lead cross-functional performance improvement initiatives with Product, Finance, Risk, Operations, Marketing, HR and Technology.
• Ensure activities comply with policies, risk standards, controls and governance requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in banking, business performance, strategy, finance, sales management or business management, including senior stakeholder exposure.
• Strong understanding of Private Banking or Wealth Management business models, client segments, products and performance drivers.
• Demonstrated experience in performance governance, planning, forecasting, executive reporting and data-driven decision-making.
• Proven leadership, influencing and relationship-management skills across complex, cross-functional environments.
• MBA or relevant professional qualification preferred.
