VP Group Accounting & Reporting – Investment Office (Dubai)

About the role

The Vice President will lead Group Accounting and Reporting for an Investment Office based in Dubai. This senior position ensures accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting while building a strong control environment and leveraging AI-driven efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all Group accounting functions, including general ledger, cash management, reconciliations, intercompany, and accounts payable.
• Lead Group consolidation and statutory reporting in line with IFRS and internal policies.
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage the flow of financial data from investment systems into NetSuite and act as the NetSuite power user.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, and Data & AI teams to integrate data and implement AI applications.
• Drive projects to strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures, focusing on cash, intercompany, SPV capitalization, and transfer pricing.
• Promote best practices across reporting, consolidation, and system utilization.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACA or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, Group consolidation, and statutory reporting.
• Proven experience managing external audits in financial services or asset management.
• High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex accounting matters into business insights.
