VP Operations & Maintenance - Water Transmission

About the role

A highly experienced Emirati national is sought to join as Vice President of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) in water transmission. This senior leadership role drives operational excellence, sustainability and innovation in managing critical national infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all O&M functions across power and energy assets.
• Develop and implement long-term operational and maintenance strategies to ensure reliability, sustainability and efficiency.
• Oversee energy generation, transmission and distribution operations.
• Lead large technical teams, ensuring strong performance, development and engagement.
• Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively and ensure cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental and safety standards.
• Drive innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement in O&M practices.
• Represent the company with key stakeholders, regulators and partners.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emirati) with family book and passport.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power, Energy or a related engineering discipline (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive experience in O&M within the power/energy sector, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale operations, budgets and diverse technical teams.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking and communication skills.
• English required, Arabic preferred.
