About the role

A Vulnerability Assessment Analyst identifies, assesses, and mitigates security weaknesses in an organization’s information systems and networks. The role uses a mix of automated tools and manual testing to proactively improve the security posture.

Key responsibilities

Perform regular and ad‑hoc vulnerability scans across systems and networks using automated tools and manual techniques.
Analyze scan results to differentiate false positives, exploitable vulnerabilities, and non‑critical issues.
Prepare detailed reports and dashboards that include risk ratings and potential impacts.
Collaborate with IT teams to recommend and follow up on remediation and mitigation strategies.
Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence, and research new assessment tools and best practices.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
Ability to interpret vulnerability data and produce clear, actionable reports.
