Waiter & Barista (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Waiter and Barista to join our team at Kunar Trading Co. in Dubai. The role combines front‑of‑house service with coffee preparation, ensuring guests enjoy high‑quality food and beverages in a clean and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
• Prepare and serve coffee and specialty drinks using espresso machines, grinders, blenders and other equipment, following company recipes and quality standards.
• Serve food and drinks, check guest satisfaction regularly, handle requests, complaints and process bills and payments.
• Maintain clean and properly set tables, coffee stations and service areas throughout the shift.
• Upsell menu items and beverages, monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups and supplies, and report low stock or equipment issues.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment, restocking and supporting the kitchen, bar and management teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a waiter or in hospitality, and preferably barista or café experience.
• Good communication skills, customer‑focused attitude and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health regulations.

Required skills

• Operation of espresso machines, grinders and coffee‑making equipment.
• Knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures.
