Waiter/Waitress – Guest Service in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic waiter/waitress to join the front‑of‑house team at Novotel Dubai Al Barsha. In this full‑time position you will be the face of the hotel’s dining area, delivering memorable service to a diverse international clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional welcome.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, convey specials and menu details.
• Serve dishes and drinks promptly while maintaining high presentation standards.
• Process payments and handle cash or card transactions with precision.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area throughout service.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene and health protocols.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a waiter/waitress in a high‑volume, upscale hospitality environment.
• Excellent customer service orientation and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.

Required skills

• Knowledge of POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
