Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel Dining Service

About the role

The Colbert Collection at Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel blends Parisian café spirit with luxury hospitality. We are looking for a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to deliver consistent, high‑quality service to our guests and support the manager in achieving top guest‑satisfaction scores. The role requires flexibility with shift patterns to match business demands.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and answering questions about portions, ingredients, and allergens.
• Set up tables with linens, silverware, and glasses, and keep the dining area tidy.
• Inform guests of daily specials and offer menu recommendations, upselling where appropriate.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using POS ordering software and deliver them promptly.
• Serve meals and beverages, ensuring proper presentation and cleanliness of dishes and kitchenware.
• Present checks, collect payments, and follow all health‑department regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a large luxury hotel (minimum 500 keys).
• High school diploma; food safety training is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Team‑oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS ordering software.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
