Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the team at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, a luxury hotel delivering authentic Turkish hospitality. As a Waiter/Waitress you will provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring every dining experience is memorable and aligned with the hotel’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain grooming standards and professional presentation at all times.
• Deliver personalized service by knowing guest preferences and updating profiles.
• Present menus proactively, stay updated on daily specials, and recommend beverages.
• Follow opening and closing checklists to ensure smooth venue operations.
• Monitor and restock service stations, clear tables unobtrusively, and adhere to HACCP and FIFO standards.
• Track restaurant financial, LQA and TrustYou targets daily and report any issues via the Glitch system.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a luxury hotel or fine‑dining restaurant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Professional grooming, ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Russian, Arabic or Turkish are an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Knowledge of HACCP and FIFO food safety standards.
• Familiarity with LQA and TrustYou performance metrics.
• Ability to use the Glitch reporting system for issue tracking.
• Strong understanding of menu and beverage service procedures.
