Water Treatment / Pumping Station Operator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment / Pumping Station Operator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of water treatment, pumping, well and distribution facilities in the UAE. The role involves monitoring equipment, responding to alarms, and supporting continuous water supply.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment, pumping station and well equipment.
• Monitor systems via control panels, computer systems and instrumentation.
• Track operating parameters such as pressure, flow, temperature, voltage and current.
• Perform equipment start‑up and shutdown following established SOPs.
• Respond to alarms, equipment failures and operational emergencies.
• Support continuous and reliable water supply operations.
• Monitor water quality and record operational readings.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, operational records and reports.
• Follow HSE, operational and emergency‑response procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams when faults or abnormalities are identified.

Required profile

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.
• Previous experience in water treatment, pumping stations, wells, RO plants or water distribution.
• Knowledge of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and water treatment processes.
• Experience operating or monitoring control systems/control panels.
• Understanding of pumps, pressure, flow rates and related operational parameters.
• Ability to respond to alarms, equipment failures and emergency situations.
• Familiarity with operational SOPs and HSE procedures.
• Good communication, reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
