Web Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to design, develop and maintain high‑quality websites and web applications that support our business goals. The role requires both front‑end and back‑end expertise to deliver seamless, responsive user experiences across devices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate visual designs into functional code.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, services and tools.
• Maintain, update and optimise existing sites for performance, SEO and security.
• Write clean, scalable, well‑documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across browsers and devices.
• Work with stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging web technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience as a Web Developer.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive design.
• Experience with at least one front‑end framework (React, Angular or Vue.js).
• Experience with back‑end technologies such as PHP, Node.js or Python.
• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and web performance optimisation.
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Shopify).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
