Work Verification Engineer

About the role

The Work Verification Engineer is responsible for measuring and verifying contractor quantities and progress to support monthly payments. The role emphasizes safety culture and quality assurance while conducting field surveys and joint measurements.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in and promote safety culture throughout the project, ensuring safe practices during field work verification.
• Adhere to procedures and collaborate with the construction team to maintain quality throughout the project.
• Oversee contractor field work, conduct field surveys, and perform joint surveys to capture interim month‑end quantities and progress.
• Review and measure quantities and progress to enable precise monthly reporting and payment recommendations.
• Support identification of work‑related information for capture in the Book of Knowledge (BoK).

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or related engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction environment, preferably in quantity surveying and site verification.
• Professional membership or progress towards certification (e.g., RICS).
