Workday Technical Specialist

About the role

The Workday Technical Specialist will lead the design, configuration, implementation, enhancement and integration of Workday HCM solutions to support Imbono’s people strategy and digital transformation goals. The role works closely with HR, IT, business leaders and external vendors to ensure the platform is optimized, scalable, secure and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Workday HCM implementation and ongoing enhancements.
• Design and configure Workday modules, integrations and business processes.
• Collaborate with HR and IT teams to align Workday functionality with operational requirements.
• Manage external vendor relationships and ensure integration security.
• Monitor system performance, data integrity and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of hands‑on experience with Workday HCM.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and work with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
