Workshop Manager – Commercial Vehicles

About the role

The Workshop Manager will lead the commercial vehicle workshop, ensuring high productivity, quality service and customer satisfaction while meeting budget and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Control daily workshop activities, monitor efficiency, productivity and utilization, and implement improvements based on customer feedback.
• Prepare and track annual and monthly service targets (gross profit, labour revenue, vehicles serviced, CSI, productivity, efficiency, retention) and take proactive actions to achieve them.
• Manage cost control measures, monitor spare parts availability, and ensure compliance with health, safety and occupational standards.
• Resolve escalated customer complaints, generate technical reports, and ensure repairs follow manufacturer guidelines.
• Lead, coach and motivate the operational team, conduct regular performance meetings and update quality management documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of supervisory experience in an automotive workshop.

Required skills

• Mechanical knowledge of machines, tools, repair and maintenance.
• Operation monitoring and quality control analysis.
• Health and safety compliance.
