Workshop Supervisor

About the role

EnerMech is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day workshop activities focused on the refurbishment, repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components for heavy equipment. The role combines hands‑on supervision with technical leadership to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise all workshop operations, including dismantling, inspection, refurbishment and re‑assembly of crane components.
• Assign tasks to technicians, conduct daily toolbox talks and monitor performance to meet deadlines.
• Conduct quality checks, enforce 5S housekeeping and ensure compliance with HSE policies, PTW and safe work practices.
• Provide technical guidance on mechanical repairs, hydraulic systems and structural refurbishments, reviewing drawings and OEM specifications.
• Manage workshop tools, equipment and consumables, supporting inventory tracking and procurement.
• Train, mentor and motivate workshop staff, promoting continuous improvement and high productivity.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on mechanical maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of offshore pedestal cranes, hydraulic systems, winches and structural components.
• Relevant technical or trade certifications (e.g., crane maintenance, hydraulics, welding) are an advantage.
• Excellent problem‑solving, leadership and communication skills.
