3D Graphic Designer - Exhibition Stands & Technical Drawings

About the role

Strategic Exhibitions & Conferences is looking for a creative and technically skilled 3D Graphic Designer with experience in exhibition stand design, event spaces and technical drawings. The designer develops 3D concepts, produces realistic renders and prepares detailed technical drawings for exhibition stands, booths, stages and event structures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop 3D concepts for exhibition stands, booths, stages and event spaces.
• Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, dimensions and construction details.
• Create 3D models, realistic renders and visual presentations based on client briefs.
• Produce fabrication and installation drawings for production and site teams.
• Ensure designs comply with venue regulations, space limitations and structural requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, production teams and contractors, and revise designs based on client feedback.
• Select materials, finishes, lighting and furniture, and support production and on-site teams during fabrication, installation and dismantling.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience in 3D exhibition stand design, event design or interior design.
• Ability to interpret client briefs and deliver accurate drawings and visuals within deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, time management and problem-solving; able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• AutoCAD for 2D technical drawings.
• SketchUp, 3ds Max or equivalent 3D software.
• Rendering tools such as V-Ray, Lumion or Enscape.
• Preferred: knowledge of large-format graphics, signage, lighting and event production, and a portfolio of 3D designs and 2D drawings.
