Academic Quality Officer – Dubai Campus

About the role

The Academic Quality Officer will join the Academic Quality team at Heriot‑Watt University’s Dubai campus, supporting accreditation, regulatory reporting and quality assurance activities across the institution.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and prepare university data for regulatory returns to the CAA, MoHESR and KHDA.
• Draft accreditation documentation and coordinate licence and programme approval audits.
• Represent the Dubai campus with local regulatory authorities and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Provide advice on academic quality policies, accreditation requirements and support external partnership reviews.
• Assist with professional, statutory and regulatory body reporting and support schools during PSRB accreditation events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a similar higher‑education environment, preferably international.
• Proven ability to collate and draft large‑scale reports and clerk committees.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated customer‑service excellence and ability to work quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Competence with relevant IT packages.
