About the role
The Academic Support Officer provides essential administrative and academic assistance to program leaders, faculty, and students. Working within the Higher Colleges of Technology network, the role ensures smooth operation of academic programs and contributes to the institution’s resilience during change or crisis.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings, take minutes, manage room bookings, arrange travel, and replenish stationery.
- Liaise with multiple internal departments such as HR, Finance, IT, and Student Engagement to facilitate program activities.
- Compile data from stakeholders and produce regular and ad‑hoc reports, statistical analyses, presentations, and email correspondence.
- Maintain confidential records for students, faculty, programs, and courses, ensuring privacy and security.
- Support academic services and student registration during peak periods and assist with course/program reviews, quality assessments, and accreditation documentation.
- Assist with annual planning, budgeting, procurement, expense tracking, KPI monitoring, and market research initiatives.
