Account Director Partnerships

About the role

160over90, a global marketing agency within Publicis Groupe, is hiring an Account Director Partnerships in Dubai. The role leads the day-to-day client relationship and partnership activation programming for a client's sponsorship portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day client relationship and partnership activation programming for the client's sponsorship portfolio
• Develop and implement partnership strategy and activations, evaluate additional sponsorship opportunities and support contract negotiations as appropriate
• Provide strategic thinking and recommendations for the client and the agency
• Liaise with the wider account team to connect across all workstreams
• Lead and mentor direct reports and work with cross-functional teams and agency partners

Required profile

• Minimum of 8+ years of agency or client-based sponsorship account management experience in sports and entertainment (e.g., sponsorship marketing or event marketing)
• Prior experience developing and implementing a client sponsorship portfolio and activations, and overseeing key client budgets
• Experience managing a team, managing day-to-day client, agency and vendor relationships, and sponsorship contract negotiations
• Understanding of event marketing operations and logistics
• Proven ability to prioritise workflow, manage multiple projects and deliver pre-defined goals
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with client/account management experience
