Account Executive – Identity Security Solutions

About the role

SailPoint, a leader in Identity Security, is looking for an Account Executive to drive sales of its Identity Security Solution. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, guiding them from discovery through to a successful sale while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
• Conduct discovery calls, qualify opportunities, and develop tailored business plans for assigned territories.
• Present SailPoint’s value proposition and differentiate it from competitors such as Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt.
• Lead a virtual team of partners, presales, deal desk, professional services, and customer success to close deals.
• Collaborate with marketing to create and execute joint go‑to‑market campaigns.
• Manage leads supplied by the organization and ensure timely follow‑up.

Required profile

• Strong communicator with proven ability to engage prospects and understand their needs.
• Experienced in selling complex technology solutions and comfortable positioning against major competitors.
• Team‑oriented leader who can coordinate cross‑functional resources and act as the “quarterback” of the sales process.
• Strategic thinker capable of building territory and opportunity plans.
