Account Manager – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to help expand our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) business with major government and utility customers across the UAE. Working closely with the Senior Manager, you will support key accounts and contribute to building our BESS portfolio from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Support relationships with major UAE government and utility accounts alongside the Senior Manager.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Pricing, and other stakeholders) to prepare proposals and respond to client requirements.
• Track meetings, follow‑ups, action items, and deadlines to ensure timely execution.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and documents in both Arabic and English.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and represent Sungrow at meetings, events, and industry activities.
• Keep the Senior Manager informed of account progress, opportunities, and potential risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• 3–5 years of experience working with UAE utility or government accounts, preferably within the PV and/or BESS industry.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, or willing to relocate.
