Account Manager II

About the role

Careem is seeking an Account Manager II to lead its grocery and supermarket partner portfolio across the UAE. The role combines negotiation, relationship management and data‑driven business strategy to grow the Careem Shops offering and deliver commercial success for partners.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for high‑profile grocery and supermarket partners on the Careem platform.
• Drive growth of existing accounts by improving catalog depth, pricing, availability and basket size.
• Onboard new high‑value grocery brands and expand the partner network.
• Analyse account performance metrics (GTV, order frequency, SKU availability, conversion) and translate insights into action plans.
• Conduct regular business reviews and develop month‑ahead plans covering commercial, operational and catalog objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams – Marketing, Supply Chain, Catalog, Customer Care and Finance – to align partner growth with overall business strategy.
• Promote advertising and in‑app promotion opportunities to partners to increase order volume.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, sales or business development, preferably in retail or e‑commerce.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Data‑oriented mindset with ability to interpret performance dashboards.
• Excellent problem‑solving and operational execution skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving, cross‑functional environment.
