Account Manager - Retail (UAE)

About the role

DoorDash (formerly Deliveroo) is looking for a Retail Account Manager to join its UAE New Verticals Team. The team manages partner relationships for the 'Deliveroo Shopping' (Retail) vertical, which covers gifts, electronics, beauty, stationery and pet accessories. The role covers national and SMB retail and non-food partners, acting as the day-to-day contact between partners and the company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with top retail and non-food partners and become the expert in this space as the business scales
• Drive partner performance through proactive reporting, weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings and reviews, analysis, improvement projects and growth opportunities
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to solve issues and keep accounts growing
• Plan marketing and promotions for partners, covering selection, promotions, pricing and service levels
• Work with compliance, legal and operations to ensure best practices
• Own the execution of site roll-outs and map coverage gaps for partner expansion
• Represent Deliveroo within each partner's organisation and ensure internal stakeholders support them

Required profile

• 3-4 years of experience in account management, business development/new business or a commercial role
• Experience in the retail and/or pharmacy industry is required
• Experience in a dynamic, high-growth company is preferable
