Account Manager - Sport Partnerships Communications

About the role

160over90 is hiring an Account Manager in Dubai for a major client's Global Partnerships portfolio. The client is an international business active in sailing, tennis, Formula One and other regionally focused properties. The Account Manager forms part of the Communications function and works with an integrated client team spanning London and New York, covering global media relations, press office, content development, hosting, event management and thought leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the client's agency network to deliver a seamless, integrated communications strategy
• Build and maintain relationships with rights holders, ambassadors and key stakeholders across the sport partnership portfolio
• Map and plan partnership assets to support content strategies and media amplification plans
• Sourcing and managing specialist third-party suppliers for consumer-facing content
• Organise communications requests from the client and channel them to rights holders and ambassadors
• Support media management and amplification at events where agency staff is needed
• Help the client's in-house comms team develop strategy and plans in key markets worldwide
• Draft media materials and toolkits for global and regional teams and agencies
• Maintain media lists mapped to key regions and properties, and keep good relationships with key journalists
• Create sport partnership content, incentives and opportunities for internal communication and employee engagement
• Run evaluation and reporting to measure the performance of sport partnerships communications

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant agency or client-based experience in PR and communications
• Specific experience amplifying sport partnerships and working with rights holders and ambassadors
• Knowledge and expertise across a variety of sports
