Account Payable Accountant – Relocate to UAE

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Payable Accountant to join a fast‑growing software development firm operating across FinTech, Gaming and Marketing sectors. The role is based in the UAE and includes full relocation support.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify vendor payment requests for policy compliance and timely processing.
• Process travel & expense (T&E) and other expense claims accurately.
• Maintain vendor master data and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Post journal entries, manage accruals and ensure proper period‑ending.
• Reconcile bank statements and outstanding balances.
• Prepare month‑end schedules and support the full close process.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare and file tax returns, staying current with local tax regulations.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors and tax authorities as needed.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience as an AP or General Accounting professional.
• Strong understanding of tech‑industry expense structures, including T&E.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• High integrity with confidential financial information.
