Accountant (Arabic & Turkish Speaking)

About the role

A growing business operating across the UAE and Turkey is looking for an experienced Accountant in Dubai. The role covers financial reporting, accounting, auditing and taxation across both markets, with regular travel to Turkey to support local finance operations. The position is full-time, mid-level, and requires fluency in Arabic, Turkish and English.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and financial analyses.
• Support internal audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Collaborate with finance teams in Turkey and external tax advisors on cross-border accounting and taxation.
• Travel regularly to Turkey to support local finance operations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and taxation regulations, and assist with tax documentation and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA, CMA, CPA or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• 3-4 years of accounting experience in Dubai or the UAE, including internal or external auditing experience.
• Mandatory fluency in Arabic and Turkish, with strong English; familiarity with the Turkish tax system is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel frequently to Turkey; immediate joiners or those with a notice period of up to one month are preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Zoho, Odoo, SAP or Tally is desirable.
• Practical knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, auditing, financial reporting and cross-border finance.
