Accountant – Cash Forecasting & P&L Specialist

About the role
We are seeking a hands‑on Accountant to own cash forecasting, ensure P&L accuracy and uphold financial discipline across our operations. The role is perfect for a proactive professional comfortable in a lean team environment and experienced with both UAE and UK compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain short‑ and medium‑term cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor and reconcile P&L statements against balance‑sheet items.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and UK accounting standards.
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks using Xero ERP.
- Prepare accurate financial reports for management review.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in startups or tech companies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong ability to interpret and analyse financial statements.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with Xero ERP.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
- Cash flow forecasting expertise.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
- Familiarity with UK accounting standards.
