About the role
The Accountant will ensure seamless financial controlling and management for IKEA operations across the UAE, Qatar, and Oman. You will handle accounting operations using SAP and Navision, supporting trading activities and collaborating with stores, business functions, suppliers, and external entities.
Key responsibilities
- Book sales and collection entries, reconcile cash collection summaries, and prepare monthly GL schedules.
- Post and reconcile purchases in Navision and SAP, ensuring consistency and resolving variances with logistics teams.
- Coordinate accounts payable activities, vendor reconciliations, and utility payments with shared services.
- Maintain internal controls, ensure VAT compliance, and generate inter‑company reports.
Required profile
- Minimum bachelor's degree in finance.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Accounts Executive or Assistant.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability for variance analysis.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Experience with Navision accounting software.
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
