Accountant – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, preparing management accounts and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and conduct financial analysis.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations.
• Develop and improve finance processes and internal controls.
• Create dashboards, reports and business insights for leadership teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support financial decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Currently based in the UAE.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, curious and continuously looking to improve processes.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Sage accounting software (preferred).
• Experience with AI‑powered tools and technology solutions.
