Accountant – Dubai (Russian & English)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Dubai team. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing payables and receivables, preparing reports and supporting statutory and management reporting in a bilingual (Russian/English) environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries and perform monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
• Reconcile intra‑group balances, investigate discrepancies and resolve them.
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Support tax return preparation and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Provide financial information and analysis to support business decision‑making.
• Support internal and external audits by supplying required documentation and explanations.
• Stay updated on changes to accounting regulations and tax requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of Russian GAAP and IFRS.
• Fluency in Russian and English (mandatory).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 1C accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, financial functions).
