Accountant - F&B / Hospitality

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting a full-time Accountant for the F&B / hospitality sector in Abu Dhabi. The role covers day-to-day accounting operations, inventory and cost monitoring, and support of month-end closing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Monitor and reconcile stock, inventory movements and inventory valuations
• Handle food cost calculations, cost control and variance analysis
• Prepare supplier, bank and account reconciliations and account statements
• Assist with UAE VAT calculations, returns and filing
• Maintain accurate financial records, invoices and receipts
• Monitor expenses and identify discrepancies in stock, costs and transactions
• Prepare accounting reports and assist with month-end closing
• Generate reports using Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Accountant in restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels or other F&B / hospitality operations
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, food costing and cost control
• Experience with AP, AR, bank and supplier reconciliations
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and filing procedures
• UAE accounting experience preferred
