Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing regular reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly and yearly financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow on a weekly basis.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and conduct financial analysis.
• Assist in internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Develop and implement efficient accounting systems and procedures.
• Record day‑to‑day cash and card expenses.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and other regulatory submissions according to UAE law.
• Handle general ledger activities, including journal entries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA or ACCA are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software (Zoho, Tally, Peachtree, SAP).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
