Accountant – Healthcare Sector (Sharjah)

About the role

A leading healthcare organization in Sharjah is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage its financial and accounting functions, ensuring accurate reporting and full UAE VAT compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements, ledger entries and regular accounting reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to UAE VAT laws, tax filings and applicable accounting standards.
• Perform routine bank, vendor and internal account reconciliations.
• Assist finance leadership with month‑end close, annual year‑end procedures and budget planning.
• Coordinate with internal healthcare departments and external auditors to support audit requirements.

Required profile

• CA (Chartered Accountant) or ACCA qualification – mandatory.
• 2 to 4 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably within the medical or healthcare sector.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and healthcare accounting practices.
