Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. This role involves bank reconciliations, invoicing, accounts payable assistance, and month‑end closing support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain bank accounts and prepare regular Bank Reconciliation Statements.
• Record daily receipts and payments with proper documentation.
• Prepare customer invoices based on approved service records or sales orders and ensure accuracy of supporting details.
• Assist with accounts payable payments, including weekly and urgent payments, and validate payment documentation.
• Support finance team during month‑end and year‑end closing activities, preparing reconciliations, schedules, and journal entries.
• Record journal entries and maintain proper filing of accounting vouchers.
• Liaise with banks, vendors, and internal teams for routine accounting matters.
• Provide data and documentation for internal or external audits.
• Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
