Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will ensure accurate processing, recording, and reconciliation of all accounting transactions in line with company policies and legal requirements. This role demands high attention to detail and strong analytical abilities to maintain the integrity of financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Review, input, and control daily entries and transactions, ensuring proper classification of supporting documents.
• Handle, process, and track payments based on internal approvals using agreed payment methods.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, prepaid, and accrued expenses.
• Maintain fixed‑asset inventory, petty‑cash reconciliation, and an organized archive system.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with legal and company guidelines.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closings on schedule.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns according to local legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
• Experience with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage and reconcile multiple accounts accurately.
